Dr. Metelitsa is a Board-Certified Dermatologist in both Canada and United States and is currently a Clinical Professor at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Medicine. He graduated from medical school at the University of Alberta, Canada at the age of 23. He further received a 5-year dermatology training at the University of Alberta. After completing his residency, Dr. Metelitsa pursued an additional 1-year fellowship training in Lasers and Cosmetic Surgery in Boston, Massachusetts at SkinCare Physicians under the direction of world-renowned faculty from Harvard and Yale. Dr Metelitsa's Special Interests include: Botox and Dysport injections, Restylane and Juvederm Injections (filler), CO2 Laser Rejuvenation, Excel V Laser, Skin Cancer, Psoriasis. Dr. Metelitsa is also a primary investigator for clinical trial for new and novel dermatology conditions at Beacon Dermatology.

Dr. Poelman is a Canadian and U.S. Board-Certified Dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology of the skin, hair, and nails. She has a special interest in melanoma and other forms of skin cancer. Dr. Poelman has established a sub specialty clinic for hidradenitis suppurativa sufferers, and offers a unique scientific evidence-based approach to cosmetic procedures. She is also interested in psoriasis and eczema and is a primary investigator for clinical trials for new and novel medications for these conditions. Dr. Poelman is very passionate about cosmetic medicine and helping her patients feel their best. A referral is required to see Dr. Poelman for a medical reason. Dr. Lam is a Canadian & American board-certified dermatologist. She is a native Calgarian who completed her medical school training at the University of Calgary & her dermatology residency at the University of Alberta. Since graduating, Dr. Lam has become a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Alberta. Her particular passions in dermatology are acne & hidradenitis suppurativa deroofings. In addition to her regular practice, she volunteers on overseas medical trips. Her passion for providing care for under-served populations has taken her to Nunavut & rural Fiji. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lam is a proud aunt to 4 dogs, culinary enthusiast & international explorer.

Dr Chivinski is a Canadian board-certified dermatologist who graduated from the University of Montreal in 2023. With a prior diploma in pharmacy earned in 2011, he brings a unique expertise in therapeutics and pharmacology to his practice. Recently relocated to Calgary, he is actively pursuing specialization in Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Passionate about education, Dr Chivinski teaches medical residents and is actively involved in continuous medical education. His professional interests encompass medical, pediatric, infectious, and surgical dermatology. An outdoor enthusiast, Dr Chivinski is excited to explore the stunning mountains of Alberta while advancing his career in dermatology. His French Canadian accent will surely charm you. A referral from a health care provider is required to see Dr. Chivinski.

Dr. Bailey Komishke is a board-certified pediatrician with fellowship training in Pediatric Dermatology. She spent her early years growing up in Calgary, after which she attended the University of British Columbia to study physiology while playing rugby for the UBC Thunderbirds and was awarded Academic All-Canadian athlete for four consecutive years. She completed medical school and pediatrics residency at the University of Alberta, where she served as Lead resident for the Stollery Children's Hospital in 2020-2021 throughout the pandemic. Following residency, she completed a two-year clinical fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) at the University of Toronto, where she was awarded the Mickey Lester award for outstanding collegiality and patient care.

Dr. Robin Raphael Cohen MBBS MSc MRCGP CCFP is a UK and Canada licensed family physician with extended scope practice in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, including injectables and micro-needling, as well as minor surgery. He completed his undergraduate and post-graduate training at St George's University of London Medical School, having rotated through numerous medical and surgical specialties and holds a Master's in Clinical Dermatology through the University of South Wales. Dr. Cohen is also a clinical instructor for family physician residents through the University of Calgary. Dr. Cohen is interested in all aspects of dermatological practice and prides himself in his holistic approach to consulting with patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Cohen enjoys travelling, cooking, food blogging and spending time with his French bulldogs. A referral is not required to see Dr. Cohen for a dermatology issue.

Branden Reid is an experienced Family Physician for 14 years. He has been working at Beacon Dermatology for the past 6 years blasting warts. Branden enjoys travelling, working out in any capacity and spending time with his little man Roman and his wife Lindsay.

With over 25 years of dedicated service in the healthcare industry, Kerri has forged a career marked by compassion and expertise. She has previously served on the Board at SAIT helping to structure their MOA Practicum program. Kerri finds joy in working closely with her team and building meaningful connections with new acquaintances. Beyond the professional realm, her heart belongs to the outdoors, where she enjoys spending time in her backyard with her fish pond and flowers. Camping is also a cherished escape. Her love for nature intertwines with her affection for animals, as she finds solace and joy in the company of her pets. Family holds a special place for Kerri, and moments spent with her grandson are definitely treasured.

Professional, charismatic and with over 15 years experience, Pam provides high-level care to patients through advanced knowledge of skincare products and confidence in laser treatments. As an Image Consultant for Beacon Dermatology, Pam conducts cosmetic consultations and cosmetic treatments, such as, Fraxel, Picosure, BBL/IPL, Q-Switch, Excel-V, Ultherapy Skin Tightening, CoolSculpting, TruSculpt Flex, Laser Hair Removal, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, Medical Facials, Spectra Carbon Peels, Infini Microneedling and assists the doctors with Ablative CO2 laser treatments. Pam strives to be a passionate and dedicated consultant. Through specialized educational training and completing a laser hair removal course in Florida, she has taken her theoretical knowledge and hands on training to provide the most advanced and up-to-date informative care to her patients. Previous to working in a dermatology office, she owned and operated her very own laser hair removal clinic out of Airdrie Alberta.

Danielle Moskal, is our Treatment Designer and skincare expert. She comes to Beacon Dermatology with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Communications. Having worked with renowned cosmetic surgeons and industry pioneers her background lies in top of the line medical aesthetics, where she garnered her love of providing services that make people feel and look their best.

She brings her comprehensive knowledge of total health and well-being of the skin to our team. With medical and cosmetic aesthetic procedures being her area of expertise, her ongoing passion for skincare ensures that she stays informed with the latest most effective technologies, treatments, and cutting edge ingredients to ensure the best possible results for our patients.
